I don't know if anyone really cares, but I did say I'd come back and report what my source at Starz said about the rumor that CMM is up for a role in Torchwood so here goes. Mainly there's nothing to tell at this point. They said there hadn't any new decisions made that they knew of on Torchwood, mainly because they're getting ready to start production on Camelot in Ireland with Joseph Fiennes (Dayum, like another nonnie said it really is six degrees of Kevin Bacon with this group) and that's what's occupying almost everyone's time right now including my source.
However their personal opinion is that CMM is not at all an unlikely suspect from what they've heard about the show's new storyline. Believe it or not they actually like him themselves and were enthusiastic when I mentioned his name--I know, I know. Anyway they promised to look into it and get back to me about what they hear re Torchwood including casting possibilities. Knowing this person as well as I do (and I know them very, very well lol) though this could take a week or two so I'll post again then if anyone's still interested.
