The story in this one is easy to follow. Jack loves the Doctor but is frustrated that all the Doctor sees are his flaws and doesn't return his feelings. He compares it to Ianto, who thinks the world of him, and decides who he's really better off with. (Ianto of course!)
и один такой, ангстовый.
When Ianto dies, Jack finds it hard to accept he's gone. He sees reminders of him when he's laying his body to rest, reminising with photographs. He even dreams about him when he goes to bed. Jack dreams of other ways he could of lost Ianto.
Jack gets angry, because Ianto won't leave him alone, follows him around the Hub everyday and even follows him out into the rest of the world. Gwen notices, and becomes concerned about him. But one particular vision of Ianto leads Gwen and Jack on a mission that he completed years ago. But by this time Jack has accepted the fact that Ianto is around to stay, and always will be. Gwen confronts Jack about it, tells him that Ianto's dead and then proves it by showing him CCTV footage of the moment it happened. Jack goes away, leaving Gwen behind. But was it really all in his mind? Is Ianto really gone?
